Saher Emmun and Mohamad Sido are amongst the 40,000 refugees who came to Canada from Syria in 2015-2016 of which more than 2,000 were directed to the Hamilton metropolitan area. Through the WorkLINC program at the Immigrants Working Centre (IWC), we held two job fairs where both Saher and Mohamad were hired. Saher and Mohamad speak of their experiences in Canada, their life with The StressCrete Group, and what they have to look forward to in this article of The Hamilton Spectator.
