Position Overview

Requirements

  • Experience with manual and CNC machining
  • Experience with mill and lathe operations
  • Understanding of G-code
  • Ability to read drawings and use standard measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer and Gauges)
  • Ability to work independently and operate multiple machines within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 30LBS
  • Must be able to stand for a good portion of the day.

An asset

  • Experience with Mazak, FANUC and Haas controls
  • Knowledge of machine setups
  • Experience with machining castings
  • Experience with fixturing and jigging
  • Experience with MasterCam
  • Experience with various other CAD and CAM
  • • Certified and/or working towards/apprenticing as a licensed machinist
