Position Overview

King Luminaire, a division of StressCrete Group located in Jefferson, OH, is seeking two (2) Quality Control Inspectors on our Second Shift. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to provide quality results. Above all, the individual must have a willingness to learn and have a strong desire to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• A positive, contagious attitude which allows candidate to lead by example with high energy and pace.
• A willingness to learn new product and procedures.
• Organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
• Responsible, dependable, and reliable with effective time management skills.
• Ability to work and communicate with all Team Members, Lead Hands, Supervisors, and Management when needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation along with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills, good judgement, and technical capacity.
• Ability to utilize hand tools, measuring instruments, departmental equipment, etc. as trained.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal.
• Follow instruction as provided by direct supervisor or manager.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures as established by management.
• Read and understand assembly and machining drawings, bills of material, and customer approval drawings, or be willing to learn how to read and understand them.
• Carryout thorough quality and testing inspections and ensure conformance to specifications as given per customer requirements / order documents.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism to improve quality control inspector abilities.
• Must be available to work second shift hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required, Some post-secondary education preferred (college, university, etc.)
