Position Overview

We currently have an opening in our Burlington, Ontario office for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our sales team in the role of Sales Coordinator.  The ideal candidate will be results driven, well-organized, and professional, with a proactive approach to their work. This role is instrumental in providing support to our sales team and will also require strong customer service and product promotion skills.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is up to a challenge and wishes to grow within our company.  This is an entry-level position with a salaried pay structure.


Responsibilities

  • Support Regional Sales Managers and outside sales reps with quoting, order tracking, and reporting
  • Assist Customer Service with managing orders and providing support as needed
  • In conjunction with the Regional Sales Managers, assist with prospecting and new business development
  • Build relationships and support outside sales agencies with a high level of response and service
  • Be a local support on Salesforce, CPQ, and Seradex
  • Work to become a product line expert on our StressCrete, King Luminaire, and Spartan Sports Lighting product lines
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the market, key customers, and competitors
  • Participate in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs
  • Travel as required (must have a valid driver’s licence)

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in a business, technical, or sales related field
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships and build rapport with others
  • Ability to master technical specifications of our products
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize, prioritize, and has excellent time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a high standard for exceptional work and customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, ERP systems, and other computer applications
